DR KATE MAJOR
OSTEOPATH

Kate is an experienced Osteopath with a strong clinical focus on whole-body health and functional wellbeing. She graduated with a Master of Osteopathy in 2014 and began her career in Auckland, where she worked alongside midwives and developed a deep appreciation for collaborative, patient-centred care. She later relocated to Sydney and has since worked across a range of multidisciplinary clinical settings.
These experiences have shaped Kate’s thoughtful and integrative approach to treatment. She values working alongside other health professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive, well-rounded care.
Kate is AHPRA registered and a member of Osteopathy Australia. She has completed extensive professional development since graduation, including GEMt dry needling and advanced training in pre- and post-natal care.
Kate treats teenagers through to adults, managing a wide range of presentations including sporting injuries, back and neck pain, sprains and strains, and the physical demands of everyday life. As a mother of two, she brings both clinical knowledge and lived understanding to her work with women during pregnancy and postpartum.
She has a particular interest in working with newborns and infants, especially those experiencing feeding challenges, unsettled behaviour, or tension following birth. Osteopathic treatment for newborns is extremely gentle and precise. Cranial osteopathy, in particular, often appears subtle, yet is designed to release tension patterns that may contribute to discomfort or feeding difficulties following birth trauma.
Kate is committed to creating a calm, supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and confident in their care.
