DR ADAM NICHOLSON
PRINCIPAL OSTEOPATH
Dr Adam Nicholson has always had a passion for movement, health, and helping people perform at their best. Having spent years immersed in sport and overcoming his own injuries, he developed a deep fascination with anatomy, biomechanics, and the body's remarkable ability to heal. This passion led him to pursue Osteopathy, graduating with a Master of Osteopathy in 2008.
Working alongside some of Sydney's most respected Osteopaths, Adam developed a strong foundation in classical osteopathic principles while embracing an evidence-informed, patient-centred approach. He understands that no two people are the same, and every treatment plan is carefully tailored to meet the individual needs, goals, and lifestyle of each patient.
Adam has a particular passion for paediatric osteopathy, with extensive experience caring for babies, children, and growing families. He regularly works with infants experiencing torticollis, tongue ties, feeding and latching difficulties, head shape concerns, unsettled behaviour, reflux-related tension, and other musculoskeletal conditions that can impact comfort and development. Working collaboratively with parents and other healthcare professionals, Adam aims to provide gentle, supportive care to help babies thrive during these important early stages.
He also has a strong interest in supporting women throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period, helping manage the physical changes associated with pregnancy while preparing the body for birth and recovery. Alongside his paediatric and pregnancy care, Adam treats a wide variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions across patients of all ages, using a combination of gentle and hands-on osteopathic techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes.
As Director and Principal Osteopath at InTouch Health Co., Adam is committed to advancing the profession through education and mentoring. He regularly presents and tutors osteopathic university students, lectures to community and allied health groups, and works closely with local sporting clubs and dance organisations to promote injury prevention, performance, and wellbeing.
Outside the clinic, Adam remains passionate about sport and enjoys competing in local OzTag competitions. He's an avid NRL supporter and values spending quality time with his wife, Alicia, and their children, Harper and Zave.
Adam is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
