



NONORTA (Nina) HOUSBEY
PSYCHOLOGIST
Nina is a Registered Psychologist with a Bachelor in Psychology, and a Board Approved Supervisor. She has provided clinical interventions to individuals while working at a variety of settings including non-government organisations, headspace, and the NSW Department of Education.
Nina has worked with a range of presentations including but not limited to anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD management, low self-esteem, social skills, school refusal, trauma, suicide ideation, self-harm, anger management, relationship concerns, and perfectionism.
Nina also has prior experience working with children over the age of 12 and adolescents with developmental and intellectual disabilities, towards the provision of psychological assessments for educational purposes.
Nina is enthusiastic and passionate, values connection, and brings a positive outlook to challenges by using a client-centered, culturally, and trauma informed approach. She incorporates evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while flexibly drawing upon elements of other evidence-based therapies to meet the individual needs of the client.
