Elizabeth is a registered Psychologist with a Bachelor of Psychology and Masters in Educational Psychology.
Elizabeth’s experience has been in both employment services and Not-For-Profit organizations working with youth and adults with a wide range of presentations and specializing in drug and alcohol in her role with The Salvation Army – Youthlink program prior to joining InTouch Health Co.
Elizabeth uses a person-centered, biopsychosocial approach for each individual and acknowledges that when people go through trauma or severe life stressors and/or other mental health, it is not uncommon to experience instability in their lives. “I strive to help those to find healthier perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships with others, which will further assist them with feeling whole, peaceful and safe as an individual. I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual, and so I have used a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Positive Behaviour Support, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)”.
